Storytel: A creative online Annual Report
Storytel is one of the world's largest subscription services for streaming audio and e-books. Storytel's vision is to make the world a more empathetic and creative place by sharing fantastic stories that can be experienced by anyone, anywhere and anytime. Therefore, the objective of this project was to make their Annual and Sustainability Report more creative, which would reflect their vision and mission in an innovative way.
An annual report that reflects your brand
A solution we provided for Storytel, since they are at the forefront of the digitized market was to create an online report as innovative as their brand. It is not modern or engaging enough to just provide a pdf version of the Annual Report. In addition, it was an elaborate production process with lots of changes going back and forth, where the collaboration between Comprend and Storytel was essential for the success.
A digital report with interactive modules and illustrations
The solution was to build a digital report of interactive modules and illustrations that summarizes Storytel's past year in a captivating way.
The final product is a very creative and interactive online report that tells their story in a compelling way. It tells the story, not just through standard informational sections, but the information is also supported by interactive functions and illustrations. In short, it presents information that is easily adopted by the reader and also is accessible across various devices.
In summary, the report includes:
- A first-ever separate Corporate Governance Report
- A full scope emissions report on the Storytel group
- Storytel’s first Communication on Progress to the UN Global Compact initiative
- A full transition from accounting standard K3 to accounting standard IFRS (in the financials as presented in the pdf version)
“Being one of the largest audiobook and e-book streaming services globally, it made perfect sense for us to transition to an online annual report this year. Having worked with Comprend and other agencies within the H&H Group in the past, I knew they would be a good partner in making this transition a success, and I am very happy with the final product”
Andreas Lindblom, Head of Investor Relations, Storytel.
